Wellness Resources

There are a few resources I rely on to help me with my health and fitness goals. Here they are!

Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle. When I first started working out, I was thin, and I had generally good eating habits. But this ebook transformed me. Yes, the page is a little salesy. But the content cannot be beaten. Venuto explains not just how and what to eat but why. There are no gimmicks here — no foods you must eat or, conversely, those you can’t eat. Just loads of practical, easy-to-apply information about how to make your nutrition program work for your goals.

Kal Stevia Extract Powder is my favorite sweetener.  Zero calories, all natural, and no impact on insulin levels. I use this in my morning shake, in my Teeccino, in my Greek yogurt, and just about anywhere I want some sweetness. Stevia is much sweeter than sugar — about 1/8th teaspoon of stevia is equal to a teaspoon of sugar, so don’t try to bake with it!

Teeccino. I don’t do coffee on a regular basis as I find it jumps me up too much. My go-to drink of choice is Teeccino, which comes in a variety of mostly- and all-organic flavors. Java is my favorite but you might like Vanilla Nut, Hazelnut or Almond Amaretto.
